Digital Partners (a Seattle based organization) has recognized the efforts of BIES in conceptualizing the project on eSwasthya (ehealth) - Bringing modern health care to rural Bihar. The project has been selected for the Social Enterprise International Award 2003-04.
BIES efforts in providing health care facilities to rural people of Jhanjharpur sub division has been appreciated by the District Magistrate, Madhubani.
BIES has also got letter of appreciation from Mrs. Sushma Swaraj, Hon'ble Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and Mr. Arun Shourie, Hon'ble Minister for IT and Communications, Government of India for its innovative project on community health.
BIES has been also appreciated by the print media.
